Projects

As a part of our initiative we have brought on board our skill training acquisition plans that help the people acuire new skills in areas like tailoring, tiling, painting, beading, shoes, bags, bleach, powder, cream, soap making e.t.c. After our trainings we endeavour to empower as many as we can , this goes along way in encouraging them and they gradually become independent and are able to fend for themselves.

Education– Being a necessity has also been a part of our program both for the young and old, this broadens their knowledge and give them a better insight to things they have encountered and will encounter. We have employed paid teachers in this field and also have volunteers who come to give their best.

Health awareness -This not been left out in all as this has helped reduce the rate of sickness, death and improved their level of cleanliness. Washing up their bodies, teeth, clothes and living in a tidy environment is more of a normality for them.

Sports– We have been able to organise some sporting activities for the children, teenagers and the men on some occasions during which the best teams are given prices and encouraged to do more. This also is a form of keeping fit.

Distribution of relief materials–  This a way of encouraging them and reassuring that we have them heart and will do whatever it takes to make them happy. We distribute food stuffs, clothing, shoes, educational materials e.g.

Medical outreach– This we do from time to time to make sure they are in good health and we constantly supply their health centres with drugs and other necessities.

Feeding– This is done from time to time during school sessions in which snacks/food is always provided for the children for their lunch hour. We also engage local communities during the festive times especially Ramadan, Christmas and Easter.

EXECUTED PROJECTS

Training of IDPS and communities on Farming and Animal Husbandry.

Crops and animals like cowpea, groundnut, beans  ,maize, sesame seed, soya beans and vegetables. techniques like Catting and goat fattening. Sponsored by Christian /Islamic bodies and group of individuals for 6 years. Areas covered include Adamawa, Benue ,Plateau ,Gombe, Borno, Bauchi and Zamfara

Objectives included

  • Ensure Early Childhood Education.
  • Health, mental and physical development

  • Promoting economic productivity
  • Breaking the cycle of poverty.
  • Adoption of 80 idp and less privilege children in to schools since 2015 from JSS  to SS1.
  • Psychosocial therapy training for the idp especially the traumatized children.

Location covered Abuja, Borno, Nasarawa, Adamawa, Plateau State. by sponsored The Regent School, Crystal Moslem Organization and other individuals. Duration 4 years

Skills Acquisition program

Objectives included

Location covered are Abuja, Borno, Nasarawa and Zamfara state. sponsorship came by Christian Bodies and Islamic Bodies for 6months

Training the IDPS on Waste Management to wealth

Objectives included

  • Recycling of polythene into bags and baskets for reuse as fruits and vegetable basket. 
  • Conversion of human manure to biogas

Locations covered include Abuja, Jos and Nassarawa state for 2yrs

Training the IDPS and host communities on the Agro Processing of Grains and processing of Agricultural Products, like leguminous plants, root crops etc.

Locations covered include Bauchi, and Adamawa State. Duration of 1 year

Training on conversion of waste food products to compose manure, and organic fertilizer

Health training of traditional birth attendants
