Education remains the foremost component in any effort to break the cycle of poverty in any society. On the other hand, the success of delivering elementary education hinges on a child being equipped with basic tools of learning. Sadly, it is very disheartening to sight a child resuming a new school year without the basic learning materials and school fees. This scenario posse’s resentment on the image of the child, raising a very worrisome question “Why would such child want to go to school’?
To this end, the back to school program is an initiative aimed at sponsoring the cost of school fees and providing the essential educational materials for internally displaced children and less privileged children experiencing financial difficulty.
