HISTORY OF HOPE FOR ALL FOUNDATION
Hope For All Foundation (HFAF) is a non-profitable, non-governmental, non-religious and non-profit organisation which came into existence in 2004 and got incorporated on the 24th Nov, 2011.
HFAF is a global alliance of individuals and organizations dedicated to building, providing humanitarian services to the less privileged, providing emergency relief and advocating for human right.
Since incorporation, we have partnered with several NGO’s, organised and executed several projects, had socially conscious networks, engaged in various skill trainings through the relentless and selfless efforts of our members, volunteers, supporters (both individuals and cooperate bodies).
Basically we have burdened ourselves with the welfare of the internally displaced persons (IDP’s) and communities in states. Our area of concentration has been within Nigeria focusing on the most conflicted areas especially the Northern regions and we can boldly say we have touched their lives all in different ways.
Our Mission
To motivate, support and encourage citizens as well as organizations to give back to the society, through voluntary, sustainable contributions, for continuous investments and development through empowerment, where every member of the community can attain financial independence and contribute positively towards community development.
Our Aim
To build independent, learned, industrious, disciplined and innovative individuals through administration of formal education, acquisition of skills, empowerment and mentoring as an instrument for sustainability and conflict management to have a peaceful and suitable society.
Our Vision
To be the foremost empowerment hub for the less privileged and vulnerable in the society.
Challenges
Hope For All Foundation is a shelter and home for all, we are not an interest based organisation, so all our activities are selfless and dedicated. We have thrived in any and all situation, our drive has been compassion and love.
The welfare and wellbeing of the IDP’s has been our uttermost concern so both in times when we have had support or none we have still carried out duty of tending to the needs of the people. Catering/ tending to the need of the people comes with a whole lot of challenges such as finance, staffs, partners, sponsors and volunteers.
Not with standing this challenges, we have not been deterred in our aim to make life better for this people and our strive to make them become people to be reckoned with in the nearest future.
In the area of academies, the children need to be given the basics of the formal education but we lack the funds to pay the staffs so you find them giving an attitude of nonchalance towards the duty of teaching the children.
In the area of empowerment after trainings, due to lack of sponsors and partners we have been unable to equip the graduands to continue in their area of qualification, so we need more partners, sponsors etc.
In the area of field work, we need more volunteer workers who have the passion and zeal to work with little or no pay and be willing and ready to come out and assist when called upon.
We need people with like minds and passion for humanity to come partner, sponsor and walk with us to help achieve this goal.
